Residents from Wolverhampton Homes took part in a “Price is Right” event as part of their regular Get Togethers this week. Get Togethers are a great opportunity for residents and staff to get together and share news about what’s happening in their area as well as discussing wider issues.
One of the items for this month’s agenda was energy saving, which Tom from Global Action Plan led along the lines of popular 1908s TV programme “The Price is Right”, with participants estimating the electricity use of various household items. There was plenty of helpful “higher”, “lower” advice from the audience and the “contestant” took away a free energy monitor to tackle electricity usage at home.
