EcoTeams

EcoTeams are groups of people getting together to do something positive for our environment. They look at simple, practical ways to reduce electricity, gas and water bills and also reduce the amount of rubbish they throw away.

EcoTeam meetings are fun and everyone learns things. We use practical activities so that everyone can take part and share what they know.

Wolverhampton Homes staff and residents take part in an EcoTeam

Global Action Plan has trained 258 people across the Midlands with the EcoTeams energy and water saving games. This has included:

• Training staff and resident to use the activivities with community groups
• Staff training on energy and water saving advice
• Using the games for resident engagement activities
